Using AviGlitch to create some glitchy videos. Sample video comes from the art heist movie The Art of the Steal.
Watch: Not a Great Van Gogh
Digital glitch screencap of Midnight in Paris.
Using the same setup from Absence and Presence, I have helmet camera videos taken from Iraq and Afghanistan mixing with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 in-game videos. It’s a very surreal experience.
Using the Processing code for SlitScan video…

There is a 10 second pause between captures.
Press up key to speed up, press down key to slow down capture speed.
Press spacebar to save the current window as a JPG file.
I have a hard time getting rid of old shirts. This is a test for a larger collection of shirts I keep, but don’t wear.
An iSight video of a video on my camera I took of the video on Facebook taken by the same camera of the videos from America’s Got Talent on a digital photo frame.
I recorded all of the results editions of America’s Got Talent (this one loops 5 or 6 of the contestants), then edited them down and converted them to a format I could put on a digital photo frame (a Kodak M820). I put a video documenting the frame on Facebook, which I then recorded again off of the monitor. Then I used my iMac’s iSight to record this video off of the back of the camera.
Test video #1 of looping America’s Got Talent results in family photo frame.
